Terms of service

Updated at: 2026-09-20.

Welcome to GoMon Smart and powerful short links. By accessing or using our website, URL shortening utilities, dynamic redirection engine, branded domain management, and click analytics dashboards (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before generating short links or configuring routing loops.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or routing traffic through GoMon, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or corporate entity, that entity accepts these Terms.

2. Description of Services

GoMon provides an advanced URL management and link shortening platform designed to create shortened URLs, configure smart routing (e.g., geolocational or device-based redirection), and monitor click analytics. GoMon reserves the right to modify dashboard interfaces, routing logic, and analytics parameters at any time.

3. Account Tiers: Free Accounts and Paid Subscriptions

We offer different operational tiers based on click volumes, custom domain configurations, and advanced targeting options:

  • Free Accounts: GoMon provides a basic link shortening tier free of charge ("Free Account"). Free Accounts are subject to strict limits, including a maximum number of short links generated per month, capped monthly click volumes, shorter analytics retention windows, and the exclusion of custom domain routing. GoMon reserves the right to suspend free URLs that experience disruptive traffic surges.
  • Paid Subscriptions: Users can upgrade to a "Paid Subscription" to unlock higher or unlimited click allocations, custom branded domain integration, deep-linking capabilities, geo-targeting rules, and white-labeled redirect screens.

4. Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse Policy

GoMon enforces a zero-tolerance policy against malicious activities. You retain absolute legal liability for the destination URLs you map to our platform. You strictly agree not to use the Services to shorten, forward, or promote links that route to:

  • Phishing portals, spoofed authentication pages, or social engineering schemes.
  • Malware distribution points, ransomware payloads, viruses, or spyware scripts.
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam campaigns), SMS text spam, or illegal black-hat marketing tactics.
  • Material that infringes third-party intellectual property or facilitates criminal fraud.

GoMon reserves the right to instantly disable any short link, purge analytics logs, and block accounts without warning if malicious behavior is detected or if we receive verified abuse reports.

5. Fees, Cancellations, and Plan Downgrades

The following provisions govern users holding Paid Subscriptions:

  • Subscription Billing: Premium tiers are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual schedule.
  • Downgrades and Custom Domain Loss: If you cancel your Paid Subscription or downgrade to a Free Account, advanced metrics tracking will cease. Furthermore, any integrated custom domains, deep-linking scripts, or advanced geo-targeting pathways will be **immediately deactivated**. Existing short links using your custom domain will stop routing traffic, and GoMon is not liable for subsequent dead loops or broken links.
  • Refund Policies: Payments are non-refundable for partially completed billing periods, except where mandated by localized consumer legislation.

6. Redirection Integrity and Analytics Accuracy

While GoMon utilizes global delivery networks to secure lightning-fast URL forwarding, you acknowledge that:

  • Redirections rely on third-party infrastructure (DNS networks, local ISPs, mobile providers). GoMon gives no absolute uptime warranties for short link execution.
  • Click analytics (countries, browser agents, referrers) are calculated estimates derived from header information. Due to proxy servers, active VPNs, and privacy browser masks, 100% telemetry accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoMon and its developers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes, without limitation, **broken ad campaigns, loss of promotional traffic, waste of pay-per-click (PPC) budget, domain blacklisting expenses, or revenue disruptions** resulting from missing click analytics, disabled links, domain deactivations, or system redirect downtime.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal claims or conflicts will be settled exclusively within the authorized courts of the region where GoMon is officially established.
